Day 1
FRIDAY
You arrive for the alc-free aperitivo hour and mingle with all the other fun people ready to spend a once-in-a-lifetime weekend in Portugal, alc-free baby!
Next, it’s time for a private chef dinner with one of Portugal’s most iconic chefs! Foodies rejoice, as each course comes with an alc-free drink pairing.
After dinner, get swept away as a private fado concert lets you hear the soul of Portuguese music.
Day 2
SATURDAY
We kick off the day with yoga + breathwork, then enjoy an alc-free bartending lesson from Listen Bar founder Lorelei.
Next, you get to explore! Maybe you join us for a traditional tile painting class. Or follow our Lisbon guide to our fave museums, shops and unique spots across the city.
At night, we get rowdy on our first-ever alcohol-free bar crawl. Roam the streets of Lisbon as you taste alc-free drinks especially created for this weekend at our favorite bars.
Day 3
SUNDAY
Dive into the rich history and stunning nature of Sintra. From a modern rebirth ritual at one of Portugal’s most mysterious palaces, to sipping drinks on the beach by the western-most point in all of Europe.
For your last night, we’re turning all the way up with our first-ever Listen Bar party outside NYC. As always, the entire menu is alcohol-free and the bartenders are all musicians. You’re our VIP guest and enjoy unlimited drinks as you mingle with guests and locals for a night like no other.
Soon, you’ll be making all your friends jealous with your stories - plus with gorgeous, professional photos of you from that time you spent a weekend turning Lisbon alcohol-free. After all, it isn’t every day that you get to go to a city so full of history - then make history yourself.

If you want to see just how good an alc-free trip can be - then this trip is for you.
If you’re a foodie or drinks connoisseur who wants to explore a culture by tasting new things. If you wanna meet cool, like-minded people and make new friends bonding over unforgettable experiences. And if you’re drawn to Lisbon’s charm and want to see it in a totally unique way - this trip is for you.
In terms of pace & vibe, we planned this as a group trip for people who hate group trips, so you can expect a good mix of shared activities and downtime to chill or explore on your own.
“ Do I have to be sober? ”
You’re welcome to be sober, sober curious or just taking a few days off from drinking. While all shared experiences will be alc-free, if during your solo time you wanna grab a glass of wine or try some local ginjinha, you do you. Just know, this won’t be the trip for nursing a hangover (too much to do!)
“ Why an alc-free trip? ”
The way we see it, this is a trip that’s not really about drinking at all (despite how delicious our drinks are). Quite the opposite - it’s about everything else, the people, places and how present we are to it all. It’s no coincidence that there’s a rebirth ritual on the last day - we believe that people will be forever changed by this weekend.
Plus, we wanted to take the Listen Bar movement global. Bring it to Lisbon, one of our favorite places in the world. And go even bigger. After creating the blueprint for alc-free parties, we’re raising the bar for alc-free travel.
So if you’ve ever had to research foreign bar menus or try to translate “mocktail,” come see how it feels when all that is meticulously taken care of for you. Because you’re not being difficult or asking for too much if you want your travels to be alc-free and amazing. All it takes is someone to listen.

Our 5-star hotel is in the heart of the city in Lisbon’s shopping district, Chiado, a quick 25-minute taxi ride from the airport and only a few blocks away from touristy hotspots like Time Out Market.

Airfare is not included. Each guest is responsible for their own airfare.

For $20 deposit:
All $20 deposits are fully refundable and will be automatically reimbursed within 14 days.
For the tickets:
Bookings are refundable (minus processing fees) within 24 hours from purchasing. After that, tickets are non-refundable. However, you can transfer your ticket to someone else until May 15. Email get@listen.bar with the subject “Lisbon ticket transfer.”

The early bird $20 deposit lets you secure your spot with no strings attached and gives you until Apr 15 to pay the cost of your booking in full.
This deposit will be automatically reimbursed within 14 days.
Early bird deposits will be available while supplies last until Tue Apr 2, 11:59pm EST.
If they sell out before then, folks can sign up on a waitlist for any remaining tickets.

Absolutely! Know that most of our rooms have one bed. While you can specify your preference (1 vs 2 beds) when you make your booking, we cannot guarantee it. We recommend only booking a Duo with someone you’d be happy to share a bed with.

Yes, we are tailoring our menu to our guests’ preferences. Please include any dietary requirements in your booking so we can plan in advance.

We take our photos very seriously - especially our travel pics. We’ll have a professional photographer with us throughout the weekend. At the end, each guest will receive a set of photos of them (mix of candids & portraits).

We offer two add-ons:
a 1.5 hour tile painting class on Saturday, $40.
Includes all materials. Your tile will be fired after class and delivered on Sunday (or available to be mounted and/or shipped for an additional fee).a Lisbon travel pack delivered at Friday’s aperitivo hour, $50.
Includes a Portuguese SIM card with internet, a pre-loaded & rechargeable public transit card (good for buses, subways and the beloved trams and ‘ascensores’). Plus, a pack of blister band-aids - these Lisbon streets are no joke.

Lisbon at the end of May is typically warm & sunny during the day (average 72ºF / 22ºC). Don’t be fooled though, layers are your friend. Temps drop abruptly as soon as the sun goes down and can get proper chilly at night (55ºF /13ºC average).
Our best packing tip though is good shoes. Not only are heels a total no-go, Lisbon is the kind of city that will have you picking shoes based on grip strength. Pack shoes that are both cool & comfy, ones you could go up a cobblestoned street at a 60 degree incline - because chances are, you will. We put blister band-aids in our travel pack for a reason ;)
